looking back

I was born in Oswego, NY. I got my first guitar at the age of 14. (Thanks Mom) It was a Harmony electric. I didn't stick with it long. Nobody ever bothered to tell me that you have to actually practice!

In 1993, I joined the Coast Guard and shipped off to Kodiak, AK. After two years it was on to Cape May, NJ. It was there that I fell in love with the local music scene. It was only natural that I would once again take up the guitar.

For the last 20 years, it's been an on again off again relationship with the guitar. For the last couple of years, I have really committed myself to everything music.

Years ago, an amazing woman and musician by the name of Fiona gave me my big break when she allowed me to take her gig. Since then, my music has been growing and expanding rapidly.

From 2012 to 2016 I was stationed in Key West. Balancing the demands of the Coast Guard and being a full-time single father, I had the pleasure of playing at some of the great businesses in Key West including Rick's Downstairs, Two Friends, Lucy's, and Rum Row.
In June of 2016, I retired from the Coast Guard, and my son and I relocated to the Tampa / St. Pete area of Florida. I am now a full-time online student at the esteemed Berklee College of Music located in Boston, MA, where I am majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.

After enjoying a successful career as a solo-acoustic musician in Key West, FL, I am now ready to reestablish myself in the Tampa / St. Pete area. I look forward to getting out, meeting new people, establishing new contacts, and playing at new venues!
